Przybysz weaves her scarves with materials that naturally complement the temperate Southern California climate. Cotton, chenille and rayon are woven into textured lengths of sensuous color, shape and line. Each pattern is balanced, yet unexpected in design. From bold and bright to muted earth tones, each piece is beautifully handcrafted. For her functional collection of table runners and towels, Przybysz prefers cottons for their durability and absorbency.
I was intrigued by a fiber arts class I took in my sophomore year of college. Fiber arts gave me the opportunity to learn weaving, coiling, jewelry making, batik, quilting and crochet sculptures.
